Arboretum

The arboretum in the Botanical Garden’s scientific and exhibition area spans about 14 hectares.
The plants are arranged by classification into different sectors, and all the paths between them have names for easier navigation.

The arboretum was first established in the 1930s, with the largest plantings done in the 1950s and 60s. Today, it holds over 1,000 species of trees and shrubs from temperate regions around the world.
The arboretum is most beautiful from April to early June and in October. Even in winter, it remains attractive due to the many evergreen conifers.
