Go Wombat
One of the Dnipro Botanical Garden’s key partners is the IT service company Go Wombat.
Its support has been instrumental in several significant projects within the garden. Thanks to their assistance, we were able to install the first feeders and aviaries, along with one of the largest insect hotels in Dnipro. These elements play a crucial role in enhancing biodiversity and managing pest populations within the garden ecosystem.
Another notable initiative in our collaboration was the installation of bicycle parking near the administrative building, which serves as the main entrance for garden visitors. This decision reflects Go Wombat’s commitment to meeting the needs of environmentally conscious citizens. Now, those who opt for eco-friendly transportation can conveniently park their bikes without worrying about safety or congestion.
Perhaps the most impactful joint endeavor has been the digitalization of the garden. Thanks to the skilled technical work of the Go Wombat team, we have launched a new website and introduced information plaques equipped with QR codes. These advancements have significantly improved accessibility for a broader audience, while also spotlighting local environmental organizations.
Furthermore, the garden is actively striving for inclusivity by providing self-guided tours accessible to all visitors, including those with hearing impairments, through QR code scanning along designated paths.
Thanks to Go Wombat’s efforts, the botanical garden has evolved into not only a premier leisure destination but also a vital hub for collaboration between businesses and governmental bodies. This partnership exemplifies how technology can play a pivotal role in fostering a new generation of environmentally conscious citizens.
