Rules of conduct
Dear visitors!
The Botanical Garden is the beneficiary of a natural reserve fund with a specific protection regime. As a result, you have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the wealth of flora and relax in this green oasis in the city centre. But don’t forget about the rules of conduct in a nature reserve – protect the environment!
Use this opportunity to:
Take a walk, see the exhibition areas, enjoy the beauty of plants, and breathe fresh air
Relax in the equipped places, read, and draw
Enjoy the birdsong
Take amateur pictures of plants, or you can take a selfie or a photo of your friends with plants in the background (Professional photography is a paid service that requires a reservation.)
Take a tour (on a pre-scheduled day)
Buy a houseplant or garden plant at the point of sale
Prohibited:
Tear off plants or gather fruit, seeds, or mushrooms
Eat any plant: even if a plant looks edible, its fruit can be harmful to health, and unfamiliar plants can be poisonous
Catch butterflies and other insects
Walk on lawns and areas closed to visitors
Make a fire
Smoke
Litter
Organise picnics or drink alcoholic beverages
Make a noise or listen to loud music
Take dogs and other animals with you (except for guide dogs with the proper documentation)
Take balls and other sports equipment including bicycles, scooters, roller skates, sledges, etc. (Please leave them near the entrance)
Launch any radio-controlled devices (such as any kinds of copters, machines, etc.)
